Meet Dandy. She and a litter mate were brought to a shelter to be euthanized. They were both very sick. Unfortunately, Dandy's litter mate didn't make it. Dandy is a fighter, and the shelter staff saw that and contacted CSAC. We took her immediately to our primary vet. She had a tough first few days. Dandy had some seizures, and it was touch and go for awhile. After a month of intensive care, she was ready for a foster home. She has been thriving in her foster home, but she still needs help. She had an MRI to see if her back legs did not work because of a brain issue or a back issue. Thankfully neither is the problem. She has luxating patellas. Her legs point outwards, and her knees don't work like they are suppose to. She tries to walk, but she cannot put weight on them. There is a surgery that can fix that, and CSAC is going to give Dandy every chance she needs. We need your help. The month in intensive care and the MRI were expensive and so will be the knee surgery. Dandy would appreciate any help you can give us to help her. Please consider a donation.
